This database tracks trade and business magazines which publish special issues on various topics. Often the special issue will have either an industry or company focus. Source OECD is the online library of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. It includes books, periodicals, working papers and statistics, notably: Financial Market Trends, Monthly Statistics of International Trade, OECD Economic Outlook, and OECD Economic Surveys. Check out the database now.

New Database: International Abstracts of Human Resources (IAHR)

IAHR is the most comprehensive source for abstracts in human resource management. It contains abstract articles from 53 of the most prestigious journals, including the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management, Organization Studies, and Journal of Management Studies. The abstracts are organized into 80 different categories, making it easy to scan your topic of interest. Each issue also has a company index, so that you can easily find articles that mention particular companies (although those companies’ names may not appear in the abstracts.) New Database Available: Going Global

The Walker Management Library has subscribed to  Going Global, a database which contains career and employment resources include world-wide job openings, internship listings, industry profiles and country-specific career information. More than 30,000 pages of constantly-updated content is included on topics such as: work permit/visa regulations, resume writing guidelines and examples, employment trends, salary ranges, networking groups, cultural/interviewing advice, corporate profiles and worldwide job listings.
